Swallows, purple martins, chimney swifts have all been declining in numbers for a number of years. In my own backyard I had a couple of families filling my wonderful apartment bird house. But for the last 4 or 5 years I’ve had none. On this episode local author and naturalist Drew Monkman shares some ideas on why this is happening.
Have you seen swallows? We’d love to hear about it.
Thank you to Wendy Sherratt-Hogan and Fred Jennings for the use of the swallow pictures.
