Brenda did an experiment recently, where she purchased a mixed seed blend from a big box store. She separated it out on a pan and gathered all the similar ingredients together. This was able to show that the seed blend was mostly made up of wheat and milo. The only birds that might eat these cheap filler seeds are pigeons and doves.
