My husband and I first spotted Jamie’s beautiful work at the Toronto Gift fair in January. He was part of the Atlantic Craft Alliance display which was promoting artisans from the East coast.
Jamie’s father had a welding shop for many years in NB but when the economic downturn hit, he decided it was time to retire. Jamie took over the 5500 square foot welding shop and began experimenting. He has created a line of art for the garden including dragonflies, flowers, fish, herons etc. He find himself inspired by nature around him and often uses his art to educate people about the fragility of fish and wildlife.
Jamie creates pieces that are functional as well as sculptural and he has also been commissioned for numerous large pieces in various public spaces.
Hi pieces are hand forged and then an epoxy coating is added to prevent rusting. This makes his pieces not only shine beautifully but also very durable and long lasting.
Jamie also attends various art shows in the New Brunswick area to share and sell his works.
He is located in Knightville NB
